The research was conducted with the objective of designing an action plan to improve academic performance in mathematics with the support of technology for students in the second cycle of primary education at the Filomena Pérez Pérez Educational Center. The scientific methods and techniques used in this study included: document analysis, surveys, interviews, and observation. The surveyed teachers expressed the need for training in the use of technological tools and stated that technology would help improve academic performance in mathematics. Students also acknowledged that learning mathematics using technology would help enhance their problem-solving skills. The implementation of technology in the teaching-learning process is an excellent ally for strengthening technological and pedagogical skills. The research was descriptive and exploratory in nature, with a mixed approach and a non-experimental design. The scientific methods employed allowed for the collection of relevant information for the study. As a result, a proposal was designed, positively validated by experts in the field, and later implemented in the classroom. It was concluded that the integration of technological tools was effective, showing improvements in teachers’ digital skills as well as greater interest in continuing to use these tools in the classroom. Students demonstrated increased interest in learning, greater participation, and collaboration among peers.
