Model for the integration of social networks in the educational management process.

The exploration of innovative methodologies aimed at improving pedagogical practice and academic performance through the use of social networks is essential. For this reason, in this study the general objective pursued is to design a model for the integration of social networks in the educational management process of the school. The research developed was framed within a non-experimental design, descriptive and transversal in scope with a mixed approach. Based on the statistical analysis, the need for the integration of social networks in the educational management process was identified, for which the formulation of actions that contemplate said integration is proposed. The study confirmed that the proposal facilitates the construction and organization of knowledge by students, promoting the use of technological tools and digital platforms in a responsible and effective manner. In addition, active participation and collaboration between students, teachers and families is encouraged, using social networks as an educational resource that enhances interaction, collaborative learning and access to relevant educational content. It was also evident that the proposal includes the training of teachers and students in the appropriate use of social networks for educational purposes, as well as the creation of evaluation strategies that allow measuring the impact of the model on student learning and on the educational management in general.
