This research aims to examine the impact and significance of soft skills training on the performance of software development teams. A mixed-methodology approach was used, involving a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, completed by 46 participants. The results indicate that improved team communication is significantly associated with greater collaboration in sustainable practices, and efficient resource management is closely linked to teams' ability to adapt to sustainable practices. Additionally, motivated and committed teams demonstrate a better capacity to adapt to project changes. It was concluded that integrating soft skills training into development programs significantly enhances performance and fosters a collaborative and resilient environment.
