The journal UCE Ciencias is structured into sections as follows:

Section: Academic Research in Engineering Sciences
This section encompasses research in various branches of engineering, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, computer, industrial, environmental, and other areas of technological development. The following types of documents are accepted for this section:

Section: Extension: Postgraduate and Community
This section is dedicated to the dissemination of work carried out in postgraduate programs, as well as projects and experiences with community impact. The following types of documents are accepted for this section:

  • Scientific Article

  • Monograph

Description of Documents to be Published by the Journal

  • Scientific Article: Original work presenting unpublished research results, adhering to the corresponding academic standards.

  • Case Study: In-depth analysis of a particular case, aimed at extracting lessons and generating knowledge.

  • Monograph: Comprehensive research work on a specific topic, which may include literature review, analysis, and conclusions.

  • Conference Presentations: Documents presented at national and international scientific events related to the journal's sections.

The journal will also include an editorial written by the director or editor of the journal, as well as commissioned reviews.
